Samantha Simone is an accomplished singer-songwriter, actor, dancer and producer. Born and raised in Sudbury Ontario, she's performed in theatres across Canada and has been featured in Television commercials and Film. Recents credits include: Principal dancer in the movie ‘Country Crush’ (March 2017) and leading actor ‘Dusty McRea’ in the Independent feature film ‘The Savage Tales of Frank McGuffin’ (September 2017). Samantha studied dance on scholarship at Broadway Dance in New York City and is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Music and Theatre program where she later joined the faculty teaching Jazz Dance and Pop Vocal Performance. Samantha composed her first song for a soundtrack for ‘THC+’ the movie (2015) and is a two time demo FACTOR recipient. Samantha only discovered her passion for writing music after graduating from Sheridan College. She has since spent numerous years in the studio writing and honing her skills as a songwriter. Having just released her first music video for ‘Over and Over’ which she both wrote and produced, she is a fierce advocate for keeping artistic work here in the North where she filmed her video with all local talent. Samantha moved back to Sudbury a few years ago to find a thriving arts community of which she wanted none other than to be a part of. She quickly formed her band with a collection of Sudbury artists who share her vision and passion for music. With her second single being released in June and her debut album ‘A One Lady Circus’ following shortly thereafter, she is beyond excited to take this year to the next level.
