J Houston Band The J Houston Band consisting of Jim Houston, Carolyn Saini, and John Chapman enjoy the challenge of performing original and cover material as a power trio. Strong elements of blues underscore many of their original compositions as well as elements of alternative rock and jazz. They are described by Pete Feenstra of Ready to Rock in the UK as “bristling with potential!” Recent highlights of the band’s career include playing the Toronto Fringe Fest, opening for Carlos Del Junco, and having songs featured on UK’s Colin Nobel’s Unsigned Show and Pete Feentra’s Ready to Rock Show. The J Houston Band has completed three albums. A song from the second album The Hunter and third album New World Order were included in the Uk’s Fireworks Magazine. The band is presently working on a fourth album.
