ABOUT
I am a 44 year old school teacher in the small town of Chapleau, Ontario. I've been writing music since I was about 15 years old, but gave up the dream about 20 years ago when I was hit by panic attacks and anxiety. 20 years later, I've overcome many obstacles and now I'm writing and recording more than ever. I've spent the last 8 years singing and playing bass in a cover band, which helped me mold my craft quite a bit. Recently, I left the band because of a need to pursue original music. I've played at the bluebird cafe and I released my first CD last year titled 'How Do You Like Me So Far'. Its a far cry from the sound I'm looking for, but producing my own music is a craft in itself. I am about half way through my 2nd album, and I think I've found my sound, or close to it. Recently I've started collaborating with a friend up in Moosonee and another friend in Sault Ste. Marie. I come home from work and record. I have a pad of paper and a pen by my bed in case I get an idea in the middle of the night. A couple of years ago I decided to make a music video. I didn't really have any cool video footage, so I took some video from a scuba dive and wrote a song about it. I've included the video link. Thanks for the opportunity!
