ABOUT

An Ojibwe Anishinabe Multi-Instrumentalist from Wiikwemkoong Unceeded Territory on the eastern shores of Manitoulin Island. Currently residing in North Bay, Ontario Canada. Dylan is seasoned in different styles of genres; Jazz, Fusion, A-tonal Improvs, Improv, Folk, Country, and Blues. Dylan's unique style of playing a part of a rhythm section or lead on Piano, Rhodes, B3, and Accordion incorporate a unique style from a classical background at a young age. ”Coming from a musical family, growing up music was always a part of our lives. Family gatherings were always followed by singing and songs, accompanied by relatives playing guitar”, this fuelled Dylan's ambition to play with his relatives one day in which he did, this would be the beginning of a long musical journey. Dylan has performed with numerous local and well-known acts, recorded on multiple projects in Studio and has shared the stage with artists including Juno-award winners such as; Leland Bell and Crystal Shawanda and Aboriginal Peoples Choice Award Nominee; David Laronde. In the summer of 2016 Dylan was inducted into the Country Hall of Fame in recognition to his contribution to the country music scene, more recently; in the Fall of 2018, Dylan had contributed to the soundtrack film; Falls Around Her with longtime friend and Composer Julian Cote. The film was Directed by Darlene Naponse of Atikameksheng, ON (Whitefish).
