Crew training in Sudbury: Electric 101
IATSE Local 634 is holding a one-day Electric 101 workshop in Sudbury this Saturday, January 11.
This workshop will introduce you to the equipment used by lighting technicians and safety procedures using electrical and lighting equipment. There will also be a hands-on session with equipment. The session is ideal for film students or electricians hoping to expand their work into the film/TV business.
Participants must have previously taken WHMIS and bring the following gear:
- Green patch safety boots
- Olfa knife
- Pocket flashlight
- 8-inch crescent wrench
- Circuit tester
- Leather work gloves
- Multidriver
- Warm clothes for inside warehouse
- Outdoor wear in case we go outside
The workshop will take place at 8 am on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at William F. Whites International Inc., 922 Cambrian Heights Dr.
Registration cost is $50.
