CanFilmDay, presented by REEL CANADA, returns on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, for the world’s biggest celebration of Canadian cinema! With over 1,700 screenings happening across Canada and around the world, this day encourages us to stand up for Canada by sitting down to watch a great Canadian film, because our stories matter.
If you're in the area, join the party at a public screening in Northern Ontario:

This year’s theme, Something to Believe In, is a reminder that Canadian films can give us strength, inspire us, and reflect the creativity and diversity of our communities. From theatres to classrooms, libraries to living rooms, Canadians everywhere will be watching, and you can be part of the celebration!
