ABOUT

Graeme has studied Egyptian percussion with Hossam Ramzy, the most prolific Egyptian percussionist in the world. Graeme collaborated with Shy-Anne Hovorka to create two Egyptian/world music inspired percussion tracks on her latest album "Bones". He is also a member of her three piece band. Graeme has made a special guest appearance with Mediterranean guitar artist Pavlo at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. He has also performed with Dahab and the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in the 2017 City of Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Awards. He has also performed at many festivals and events. He has acted in the short film The Sword for Conflix and Imaginarium Studio Inc. feature film The Discarded. The Eclectic Album was Released May 15, 2018. It is Graemeā€™s first album. Upon release of the album, Graeme signed a publishing deal with Arc Music Productions International Ltd. The instrumental album contains New Age World Music utilizing various musicians with different ethnic instruments. Each track takes on a unique style of music from around the world. Egyptian percussion is the underlying rhythm and driving force throughout the entire album. The Peruvian Vibe single was released on August 13, 2018. The single is a wonderful mix of Egyptian percussion with drone flute played by Anneke Dawson. The drone flute is from Pisaq Peru "Sacred Vally" which is in the Andes. Authentic Amazonian/Peruvian jungle sound is layered behind the flute intro with permission from the British Exploring Society.
