Hailing from Sudbury, Ontario, Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company create indie folk rock that's as heartfelt as it is unique. Fronted by bilingual singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chanelle Albert, the band features Andrew Gagnon on drums, Jacob Tyler on bass, and Josh Myre on guitar, blending influences from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp, and Bruce Springsteen. Since forming on January 3rd, 2018, the band has been making waves in Sudbury and their debut at the Townehouse Tavern kicked off a series of captivating live performances across Ontario. Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company began independently releasing their original music with their first single, "From the Top", in 2019, followed by their second single, "Si la nuit", in 2020. The band's website, chanellealbert.com, received the 2020 Folk Music Ontario Website Award. On May 20th, 2022, they released their live-off-the-floor EP album, "The Birds," with a corresponding five-song video on YouTube. Entering a new chapter, Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company dropped their latest single, "Scratches," on August 18th, 2023, marking a promising evolution in their musical journey. They are now set to release their first studio LP, 22nd Century Beautiful People, in the spring of 2024. With an impressive repertoire of original music and a magnetic live presence, the band continues to carve its path in the music industry.
