ABOUT

Veronica Johnny is a multi-disciplinary, Indigi-Queer artist. She’s a singer/songwriter and contemporary hand-drummer as BeAny and Veronica Johnny Music. She’s also the frontwoman of The Johnnys - a high-energy, rock’n’roll band featuring all original music. BeAny is a multi-genre artistic persona-project exploring rhythm, music and movement through an Indigenous matriarchal lens. Veronica’s a multi-nominated /award winning artist, who has performed at Yonge & Dundas Square, on live television and featured on playlists. Butterfly (Salas/Gutierrez Remix) by The Johnnys is currently on the Indigenous Music Countdown. BeAny’s dance single called Healing Journey is due for release in 2022.
