Film Programs & Reporting Supervisor:
Rob Riselli has over 30 years’ experience in the Arts & Entertainment Industry, having worked in theatre, television and film, predominately in Halifax, Sudbury, Toronto and Vancouver. Rob’s role at CION is in promoting and helping to further the infrastructure of Northern Ontario’s Film & Television Industry through industry programming and workshops. As a Camera & Lighting supplier for many years, he has a great understanding of the industry.
Rob was a founding member of Screen Nova Scotia (serving as Vice Chair), an advocacy group working for the film and television community, as well as a founding member and former chair of the Film and Advisory Committee for Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia, and participated on many Boards including Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative and Autism Nova Scotia. Rob has participated in the development and training of many technical crew with the various unions and post-secondary schools in Northern Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
Marketing & Program Administrator:
Jesse Brady has been working in Marketing and Communication for almost 20 years and has worked in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Sudbury. He has a BA from Laurentian University and a MA from Concordia University. Jesse has also worked for many years in the Arts community in Northern Ontario, serving an artistic director for a Sudbury-based arts organization, as well as volunteering and serving of boards of local music, theatre and arts organizations.
Jesse’s role at CION is to help promote the organization's work, and to help administer the MAPPED program for film and television productions shooting in the north.
Logistics & Resources Officer:
Shawn is the Logistics and Resources Officer with Cultural Industries Ontario North. He is a graduate of Laurentian University and Cambrian College with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. With experience working on film and television sets, Shawn works with crew members and productions to track resources. He works on project consultations and event planning for all of CION’s major events.
As a member of Northern Ontario arts community, Shawn is knows the challenges artists face and is ready to help them on their creative paths.
