Film Programs & Reporting Supervisor: 
Rob Riselli

Rob Riselli has over 30 years’ experience in the Arts & Entertainment Industry, having worked in theatre, television and film, predominately in Halifax, Sudbury, Toronto and Vancouver. Rob’s role at CION is in promoting and helping to further the infrastructure of Northern Ontario’s Film & Television Industry through industry programming and workshops. As a Camera & Lighting supplier for many years, he has a great understanding of the industry.

Rob was a founding member of Screen Nova Scotia (serving as Vice Chair), an advocacy group working for the film and television community, as well as a founding member and former chair of the Film and Advisory Committee for Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia, and participated on many Boards including Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative and Autism Nova Scotia. Rob has participated in the development and training of many technical crew with the various unions and post-secondary schools in Northern Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

Marketing & Programs Officer:
Ty Reinhardt

Ty previously worked in the film and television industry in a variety of capacities. With half a decade of experience, Ty worked predominantly as a Producer’s Assistant, before moving on to produce projects of his own, which have been screened at film festivals across Ontario. Ty also gained valuable experience working as a Film Liaison in Economic Development with the City of Greater Sudbury, ultimately shaping his desire to promote Northern Ontario with an emphasis on advocacy, leading him to his current position at Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION). Ty is a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Motion Picture Arts Specialization program at Laurentian University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Laurentian University.

Logistics & Resources Officer: 
Shawn McLaren

Shawn is the Logistics and Resources Officer with Cultural Industries Ontario North. He is a graduate of Laurentian University and Cambrian College with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. With experience working on film and television sets, Shawn works with crew members and productions to track resources. He works on project consultations and event planning for all of CION’s major events.  

As a member of Northern Ontario arts community, Shawn is knows the challenges artists face and is ready to help them on their creative paths.
