Annie Sumi, "at 21 years old might be Canada's new folk darling". This beautiful track and performance titled "Reflections" by Annie on vocals, Quintin Bart on bass, Amika Vie on xylophone and Jonah Kissoon on percussions, was produced by Stephen Kozinski in North Bay. The eye grabbing mural was painted by the Definitely Superior Art Gallery Crew and creates the perfect backdrop for this video. Annie herself calls this project "a collaboration with some of her dearest friends. A day to hold in the heart forever." You will fall in love with this old soul indie-folk singer.

Filmed over five years, "After the Last River" is a point of view (POV) documentary that follows Attawapiskat’s journey from obscurity and into the international spotlight during the protests of Idle No More. Filmmaker Victoria Lean connects personal stories from the First Nation to entwined mining industry agendas and government policies, painting a complex portrait of a territory that is a imperiled homeland to some and a profitable new frontier for others. Victoria was a workshop leader during Cinefest Sudbury in September at the LIFT MasterClass: "Connecting Communities Through Film".
